The Emerson corporation in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have issued a recall for their Corsiar Ceiling Fans. The recall is due to the possibility that the the hanger bracket may spread apart due to heat from the motor and out-of-balance operation, allowing the fan to fall from the ceiling, posing a risk of injury to bystanders.
